I just installed a SC Project exhaust on my V4. I removed the exhaust valve motor by unplugging it. The engine check light is on BUT more important after riding it just 60 miles with the new exhaust I now have a oil light warning. BUT not in the normal right side of the panel. It's in the lower left side . Near #11 in the manual position. When I start it the main oil light goes off. The oil is full & was changed 500 miles ago.
My dealer never heard of a second oil warning light other than the service light.
This is not the service light. It was reset by the dealer at 700 miles.
I now have 2300 miles on it . ANY IDEAS .
