Engine covers removed .

First thing I did was remove remove those awful engine covers .I understand they are there to stop the heat on your legs but firstly they look terrible and secondly they are going to retain heat at the bottom of the fuel tank will interesting to see if there are any issues there in the future

First thing I will do also, was it hard to remove? It is only on the left hand side right?

You will need to remove the tank and loosen off the rear sub frame not a real big job yes on both sides
 
yeah i removed them too, hideous things the are,cant remember which one but one of them was a .... of a thing to remove.

I'm just glad you are back. I like to hear what you think about V4 later.
