Just to update on a problem with the SFV4 me and my mechanic have been scratching heads about.
So the issue was, the engine will stall/die on 2 occassions:

1. When coming to a stop, during the final clutch in;
2. After starting the engine, when warm. For example after topping up petrol or running a quick errand.

Mechanic found the issue was Cylinder1 wasn’t in sync with the other cylinders. I’m not sure what, but the graph they showed, shows that cylinder one was off compared to the rest.

After adjusting, my bike now runs smooth and no longer dies.

I have to take my bike in for this issue...... now that I have read your thread it seems I have the exact same issue. At a stop the bike drops down into cylinder deactivation so I know that part is normal but then the bike sounds and feel like it drops another cylinder as if one is out of sync when the bike is idling on cylinder deactivation mode....
