Just got my annual service done on my 2021 Streetfighter V4S which I bought in August of 2020.As I was riding home I felt the rear tire doing something funny.First I thought it was low air or something but later when I stopped I saw whole load of chain lube splashed over the rear tire and the exhaust (left side)…I’ve akra slip ons.Any idea how to get rid of this crap from the tire.I already sent emails to the dealer and waiting for the response .

I just got a new V4SP and the chain was literally white when I picked it up . I had a ton of sling-off all over my carbon wheel chain guard and the tail of my bike . I just used a bunch of simple green and a few microfiber towels and a lot of elbow grease … good luck !

Heck that is a mess... was the bike taken for a test ride before handed over to you??
Don’t know but now I saw the tech taking it out …they swapped the rear tire.It should be all good.Any recommendation to break in they new tire ?

Just take it cautious for the next 50 - 80 km.... specially the lean angles in turns...
Thanks…they didn’t have the stock tire in stock..Rosso2 and they put on supercorsa v3.Front is still rosso2 …will it have any issues?

Is there a problem getting RC2's now or is this dealer just a goofball?

For street, SC's will 1. wear faster esp. in middle, 2. more sketchy on damp roads.

They didn’t have it in stock and I was pretty upset earlier and they thought they will give me a better tire instead of waiting on rosso2.I saw it when they brought the bike out.I don’t normally ride in rain but you are right rosso 2 are better for street. My rosso2 rear already had 5500 kms on it and I had to change it next year anyways .This one gives even half of that should be fine .Mileage wise I think I should be even stevens .The service guy vouched for it and said different front and rear won’t hurt anything but I stil wanted to confirm from the forum here .

Question…I was running 32/32 on corsa2 on street but since I got a rear replacement supercorsa v3 by dealer, what pressure shd I run on rear ?

Factory spec calls for 35/36 F/R with no passenger, 39 R with passenger.

About the chain lube… my dealer forgot to install the lower chain guard just above the exhaust when they fitted my Akra slip on. I didn’t notice when I picked up the bike as it was the first time I got to properly see it.

Result… I thought the bike was on fire a few traffic lights down the road. Chain lube was being flung directly onto the can and was smokin’ plumes.
