What’s up guys!

I soon plan on purchasing a 2022 Panigale V4 and am looking between either the Full Akrapovic or the Full Termignoni 4USCITE exhaust. I have a few questions,

1. Which do you prefer and why?
2. Can the Termignoni have passenger footpegs?
3. I love the undertail look, what other exhausts do you suggest?

Thanks for your input!

I would wait, potentially Termignoni will release the underseat used by Axel Bassani and Tommy Bridewell.
Maybe email them, say you're thinking of buying the Akrapovic, but really like the underseat WSBK option...

I purchased the full Akra under tail. The termi is good but the Akra comes with a Ducati upmap and takes care of calibrating all the Ducati electronics like DTC DSC DWC etc.

Found out that both void warranty. At that point it’s just preference for aesthetics and sound. I choose Akra for the reasons above. The termi will need a proper tune, I wouldn’t rely on the T800 upmap.

And, I hate to say this, but that Akra map is on a par with the UpMap T800
No arguments there. The map might be just as good with engine mapping to get HP. My point is that t800 doesn’t change the electronics of the bike to match the new exhaust and engine mapping. For example, there have been some issues with the quick shifter with t800 or issues with the new modes such as high medium and low. Those types of things are not 100% mapped out properly with t800 compared to a Ducati approved map.

They don’t void the warranty. Whoever told you that is a fool or is lying.

Correction @seanhv2. It seems I was partially wrong. Yes it will not void the entire warranty. However the exhaust system may not be covered by warranty. Unless the issue was due to the exhaust, it should still be covered. That being said, messing with electronics (i.e.,ECU) can possibly cause Ducati to not honor a warranty since it was tampered with. Again for peace of mind I went with the under tail Akra as opposed to a T800 mapped exhaust. Spending $30k on a bike and then $7k on a exhaust I want to be as cautious as possible. Also get chummy with your dealership they can help out with warranty issues. Also keep in mind these are race exhausts and not road exhausts, I have heard people have claims denied because of this.

Again I could be wrong completely but I made the purchase with calculated risk. Best of luck pal.

People would be better off to read "I have heard people have claims denied" as "I read some post on the internet from some dude I don't know, who maybe owns a Ducati, claims to have had warranty work denied."

I'm enjoying my full Akra and race map, although not the under tail, it sounds great and quality is top notch. My only complaint would be it's common and most bikes I see have the Akra slip-on or full system.
My buddy bought the older under-tail full termi for his Pani SP1 and has fitment issues resulting in a very lengthy back and forth process with Termi and the dealer pointing fingers and sending pictures.
For plug and play install I'd go full Akra under tail, it's sexy too!

When considering both Akra full systems w/Ducati's map, what are the pros/cons between the under-tail vs. low-slung versions?
