Does anyone make longer chain guards for our bikes?

I am tired of the chain wax sling on the tail.

Thanks in advance.

Not sure, but FortNine did a video on chain wax. He goes over which ones are less likely to sling off the chain. Might help

Thanks. I watched that. But our stock chain guards are way too short and they all sling a little. Which is fine with the wheels but I hate getting it on the tail light.

I agree man! I actually got some hot wax sling onto my seat once and burned a small hole. I was pretty pissed. Not sure if the warranty would cover it, but I’ve considered a seat cover.

pledge takes off the 'sling' like a champ.

after 'lubing', let it soak a bit then wipe off the excess. the chain is lubricated internally, so basically the process is rust prevention and removing the road grit that would grind away at the seals.

Hate to break it to you but hot wax isn’t hot enough to put a hole in your seat

Pledge works good on all sorts of stuff

I have a buddy that swears it’s effects on aero are worth a solid 2 mph : )

Well ..... I have no idea what it could’ve been then. I don’t smoke, and neither does my riding buddy.

Do you think it may have been some hot rubber from the tire that slung off?

Do you wear pants with buttons? Maybe something got caught and ripped it.

Nah. It definitely looks like a burn mark though. Looks like it’s gotten bigger too = (.

Seat covers are pretty cheap though

That’s nasty. Touch the exposed light inside piece with a black sharpie
Or get a new seat

Yes, I watched the Fortnine video, but all chains lubes/waxes splatter a bit. And I did a ceramic coating to make the bike easier to clean , but it is very annoying knowing every time you ride it will splat. I may take it off and see if I can get a 3d printed one. haha

What habbened to just squirting the chain down w WD40 after each ride.
It cleans up aight if there is a bit of sling

mother wise the official chain lube clings to the chain and dust and dirt cling to it so it’s like sandpaper working away at yer chain

X ring chain is sealed bro

Stop lubing it after every ride you spas!

Sandpaper...

Smoked

Harsh environment : )

Don’t do this. WD40 is horrible for lubing chains. Proper way is
