my plan is to never two-up ride anyone but alot of times riding through the city every once in awhile, women want a ride. I have it in P just in case
Sure, it's safe. And they all love it.
Why, just the other day Kate Bosworth knocked on my door and asked for a ride and when I informed her the suspension was set to "F" (being a proper gentleman), she said "That's okay because just to ride behind you on your Panigale is worth the risk".
Hey, I couldn't turn her down.
And just so you don't think it's ancedotal, same thing happened with Scarlett Johansson, Mila Kunis, Megan Fox, and a bunch of others I've lost track of. Every one of 'em begged for a ride even with the suspension set to "F".
So, yes, set it to "F" and in no time, whenever you ride through the city, I'm sure a cutie on every corner is gonna be asking you, a complete stranger, for a ride.
lol i can tell you are either married or single n get no p%$y.....anybody else have any real advice?
And I can tell that you have no clue as to social interaction with women or you wouldn't even be entertaining the fantasy that random persons of the female sex would have overwhelming urges to climb on to the back of a Panigale belonging to a stranger all on the strength of your overwhelming magnetic charm while seated on the back of said M/C.
You should give women more credit than that.
Okay, I can chime in as a serious answer...
Yes, you can do it. If you are taking it easy and plan on hitting zero bumps in the road as it will likely bottom out, but it will not be enjoyable for rider or passenger.
The bigger issue is the comfort factor. My (current) girlfriend has been a passanger on all of my bikes over the past 12 years from my ZX-6r in 2001 to my ZX-10r before I got this bike in 2012. She loved those bikes and was comfortable (in standards of sport bikes, of course). She also felt "affectionate" (Her words, not mine... I called it horny as f***) immediately after each ride.
Fast forward to the Pani (in F setting)... The stock seat sucks for a passenger and feels like you are getting gang banged by an inmate who just escaped prison (Once again... her words, not mine). Even changing over to the comfort passenger seat made no different for the bumps in the road... Just made it a little less bone jarring for her. She usually had to recover for a day or two because it would hurt her pelvis, hips, and back from a short jaunt on the Pani.
Even in P setting, it's not pleasant for a passenger, but it is at least a little more tolerable.
