Failure of hydraulic clutch

The fine black streaks are chain lube gettting into the system through the the slave replace your slave with a cnc slave and problem solved, Been riding for 13000ks with cnc slave and it works great. Had problems with hydraulic clutch after about 4000ks for about another 4000k then replaced the slave with cnc also changed to a higher temp brake clutch fluid.

Not sure on that. Both of brake tanks are black as well and I doubt that chain lube is going to get into the slave, through the seal and travel all the way up that thin clutch hose to the fluid tank.

Although saying that, since I change to the CNC CS, no problems and so far my fluid has stayed clean too, so who knows!

I was not talking about the fluid being black but about black streaks when you bleed the slave sorry for not explaining it better the first time  it gets in through the gap on the stock slave, the slaves back plate can move about a have mil or so letting in chain lube there is only a single seal on the stock piston in the slave very poor design

I have the same problem.. Changed the Mc through warranty from ducati but the problem still exists.. The cnc cs you talk about solves the problem for sure?

is there anyone had this; so when I let the clutch out the clutch feels like it dose not engage fully and then you feel a click in the lever? almost like the plunger in the master is getting stuck.

See post #7 (page 1 of this thread)

my best guess, (although you didnt describe it exactly as i would like) is you just need to bleed the clutch from up at the lever (the bleeder at the master cylinder right near the clutch lever) - there are plenty of posts about this - there is no real solution other than the bleed....a lot has been reported as "a cure"....good luck if u find it...but until you do, a quick clutch fuid bleed is probably all u need
