Mac is good exact same as febur but he also gives you option for thicker upper radiator

Cooling is seen on the track for sure

Febur has horrible customer service I would go with Mac he makes each set himself but Thames had a set I'm sure you can ask him

Or go with the radiator setup motorapido sells now koen can chime in

Mac Radiators are basically made to order and it works very well. You can also get an upper radiator that works better than oem. The price is 1000 euro for the lower kit with alle the bells and whistles and 1300 euro including the upper radiator.

Can you still run the cooling fan or is it only a race fit item ?

cheers

PS The mac I mean

I have actually placed a order for the lower . Worth adding the top one as well by the sounds of it

Remember to get the thermostat housing replacement pieces :) It allows You to remove the thermostat for better flow.

A friend of mine ran his 1199 in a Dyno at 85 degrees C and again at 95 degrees C. He lost 10bhp at 95c compared to 85c.

Another problem is the heat from especially the race exhaust. The mufflers are so close to the oil sump that they heat up the oil. A solution to this could be fitting pieces of heat blankets between the exhaust and the sump (there is not a lot of room).

Hot is one thing but the Pani has no issues with overheating. Its a good design for all but the most intense city stop and go. After hard ride on freeway 65 miles and running into stopped traffic 90F. I experienced a lot of heat soak. I can tell that oil was was getting real hot and clutch felt less controllable. Still no problems with overheating in this case. For a racing bike to be tractable even in these daily hard use conditions is very commendable. Exotic performance with daily durability and usability is within the 1199s capability

The bikes get too hot on the track .

I bought the SBK version that MAC makes. I haven't received it yet, but I'll let you know how it does. With the OEM setup I hit 107 degrees Celsius two weeks ago. So my riding is over till I install it.

Here's a pic

I ran my old 1199s on a 20c day and it got to 100c. I as well feel that's just too freaking hot.

I'm going to assume the answer is no...but.

Can I mount the Mac SBK radiator combo and retain the fan? I can't convert the 1199 to a full track bike until later this year when I stop daily driving it.

I actually think its possible and one of the guys here has done it. I haven't bothered cause I am going to race mine.
