Look up their densities and you’ll be amazed at what you find. Also check Ti’s Cof vs steel or iron. Think about what kind of coating is on your Ohlins forks. And yes tongue in cheek.

And look up the coefficient of expansion for all. Ain't just friction. I'd have titanium rods if they could get the fatigue life up a couple of order of magnitudes. Expensive parts to replace every couple of years.
 
Tbh I’ve never seen Ti brake discs before.

The question is friction… do Ti discs require special brake pads?

No STD pads work fine, rhe disc wears ok there's no galling at all, just won't be as good as a steel disc but close enough if you don't use much rear brake.
 
Bikes finished now, ended up with a dry weight (oil and water, no fuel) of 157kg.
Will see what HP we get when our dyno is commissioned next couple of weeks

I think im right in saying the std rake of the v2 is 24 degrees? and when I looked at the inserts although 24 is parallel to the frame head they appear forward of the centreline?
