Hah, Yah Zaid, indeed it does.

Fortunately, you northerners never have to worry about that. ;-)

And in summer you can laugh at me down here when I'm complaining about the heat, humidity & mosquitos... I won't take offense then, promise. :D

In the meantime, you guys come down for Bike Week in March.

IT DESTROYS THE PLACE!! here you go bud hurricane season SUCKS down there doesnt it! :)

I agree, this is torture! I got her the beginning of December and have only about 200 miles on the odo. Hoping I'm in the home stretch here with the weather, since I might have a completely rebuilt aftermarket pani by March.

What are you looking to have done?

I'm only in the 200 mile club at the moment as well since buying my bike mid december and then the dealer having it for an oil leak issue for a couple weeks. i did manage to take it out this past week when it was 12 outside but dry just going to class, but it really needs to get warm. i pass the time by watching past motogp races and the fastest documentaries and of course closer to the edge.

I wonder if you can ride in wet mode thru that?? HAHAHAHAAA I'd love to go to bike week, but dont have the dough($$) to buy the enclosed trailor to keep nice 1199 clean from all the road salt!!

September? Where in the country are you?

Last time I had the Pani out was the beginning of November, and I've already managed 200 miles on the FJR this year (not that I think it will be out until March/April now.)

Al.

In Aberdeen, weather really has been crap up here. If it's not torrential rain, howling gales....... it's this bloody snow.

So far...

All I have done on my brand new Panigale ABS (got the dealer to deliver as the weather is crap) is polish it, clean the thick white grease off the chain and dream of summer whilst staring at it with a bottle of beer in my hand. How can I beg the wife that a set of termignoni cans is a higher priority tha sorting the back garden? Roll on summer

Don't worry guys i'm riding for ya down here in Florida! It's supposed to be 75 degrees today. And I never forget the depressing days I had up north in the cold..
It was about 72 here today :D
I feel the same way when I'm riding and you have heavy hurricane season
That happens pretty rarely. I will settle for riding in January over few days of heavy rain every couple of years.

PS. I am a Patriots fan, I needed to ride out after what happened on Sunday.

Don't forget about an occasional evening rain in the summer.

+1 Snow is gone, so no more sledding.

Got my new rearsets yesterday and I'll try to take my time to install them, 'cos as soon as I'll be done I'll just order more stuff.............

Whats this "Winter" you speak of? If Florida we might see the temp dip down to high 40's in the Holiday months but always back to 70 by noon. Never any snow... I like the cold, it allows me to wear my gear more comfortably :)

No better feeling than taking your bike out for the first time after a long winter. Fixes a smile on my face for 15min strait.

Buy it, fit it, then deny all knowledge of it!

"But it was like that when I bought it!" *cough*

Just went for a quick blast. Only 29 degrees here in MA but I've been having withdrawals so I figured what the hell. Fingers got a little cold but that's about it. Well worth it imo.

It made 19 here today. Unfortunately it is on the Fahrenheit scale. Snowing for 3 days straight. Ugh.

honolulu this morning

we have the weather but not much fun roads
