dealer gave me 38K so with tax and everything else OTD would be around mid 42K
Does this sound like a good deal?
Yes, I would think that would be a very good deal. You might ask if they can throw in the red Panigale cover along with the deal too!

Not much.... Ducati is only allowing one or two extra FE's for each dealer. All other bikes will have preorder deposits on them. Also being the last of the Superbike twins means a lot to some buyers.
End of an era...

Mine is "on the water". Looks like this first shipment is scheduled to land in New Jersey any day now. Then us folks in CA have to wait for transport cross country. I knew I lived on the wrong coast!!!
Are you guys keeping the red wheels or changing them out? I've got a set of gold Anniversario wheels and black R wheels. Thinking of going with the gold first.
Not going for the 1299SL ?

I wonder if the low numbers has a lot to do with the MSRP.
$45K out the door for a motorcycle really limits the addressable market. Makes me think hard about what else i can add to the stable for that amount of $$.
Been eyeing a low mileage 998R and 996R...
KMY, If you're not going to buy an SL just buy the FE, and the 998R. I really like those. I wish I had one. The 998R is one bike I wouldn't mind owning someday.

The wheels are actually part of the reason I went against getting this bike. As silly as that sounds, but in my mind I can't part with £35k to get a brand new machine and then spend another £3k on wheels........ brain does not compute!
anyone know if there is a race exhaust for the fe available
the standard CAT under the engine is rubbish
you can pay 35k on bike and you can ´t pay 200 in paint the wheels? Honestly that sounds ridiculous.:Rodar los ojos:
