dealer gave me 38K so with tax and everything else OTD would be around mid 42K
Does this sound like a good deal?

Yes, I would think that would be a very good deal. You might ask if they can throw in the red Panigale cover along with the deal too!

Not much.... Ducati is only allowing one or two extra FE's for each dealer. All other bikes will have preorder deposits on them. Also being the last of the Superbike twins means a lot to some buyers.

End of an era...

Yep, even if the new V4 is an amazing beast(which im sure it will be) i cant see these being reduced a lot if any.

I had no idea these came with the dual undertail Akras. Those are so nice!!!!

After seeing some normal pics of this bike i have to say its growing on my. The first round of pics i wasnt too fond of the scheme but after seeing that ebay ad i really like it. I ....... love that exhaust

FE Delivery

Hello Everyone. Just joined to chime in, I have a deposit on one and am told the same, some time this month. Excited isn't the word.

There is one in the showroom of my local dealer in Torun (Poland) I believe it is still available.

I just got word, supposed to be getting the first one in the Mid-Atlantic in about a week.

Mine is "on the water". Looks like this first shipment is scheduled to land in New Jersey any day now. Then us folks in CA have to wait for transport cross country. I knew I lived on the wrong coast!!!

Are you guys keeping the red wheels or changing them out? I've got a set of gold Anniversario wheels and black R wheels. Thinking of going with the gold first.

Not going for the 1299SL ? ;)

Haha! It's tempting for sure. I was offered one recently and thought about it, but ultimately just couldn't justify the price. It's achingly gorgeous and I'm sure an experience to ride but I think about how many special bikes I could add to the stable for that price. The FE will hopefully scratch an itch and be close enough to an SL for me and at $45k out the door it's about all my wallet can take at the moment

I have one on order that I'm 99.3% going to pass on but if I was to get it these are forsure the rims I'd go with.

I wonder if the low numbers has a lot to do with the MSRP.

$45K out the door for a motorcycle really limits the addressable market. Makes me think hard about what else i can add to the stable for that amount of $$.

Been eyeing a low mileage 998R and 996R... :D

KMY, If you're not going to buy an SL just buy the FE, and the 998R. I really like those. I wish I had one. The 998R is one bike I wouldn't mind owning someday.

I like where your head's at!! I'm a bit torn between the 996R and 998R. I think the 996R looks a bit better with the vents in the tail and black mirrors, but the 998R is the last of its kind. Either would be a good addition. I'm really enjoying my 916SPS. It's got Ferracci bits and pulls like a freight train. Riding position is super aggressive with low bars, but the bike is really narrow and handles well. Sounds the part too!

Then just need a 999R or 1098R to complete the lineup :D

It never ends...

Definitely go with the gold wheels. That is going to look absolutely killer. Excited to hear all about it.

The wheels are actually part of the reason I went against getting this bike. As silly as that sounds, but in my mind I can't part with £35k to get a brand new machine and then spend another £3k on wheels........ brain does not compute!

you can pay 35k on bike and you can ´t pay 200 in paint the wheels? Honestly that sounds ridiculous.:Rodar los ojos:
