Thanks. I enjoy riding both of the bikes - all of them really. They're all different from one another and each has its own niche.
I commute on the Tiger 1050 most days.
I cruise with a few friends on the Thunderbird, with the big bore 1700.
I play on the Monster and some Fridays it's my "commuter."
The Panigale, that is just for excitement and because it is a tricolore.
The single car side of the garage is the bike side - i think i have a crappy picture someplace of them all neatly angled in so I can hook them up to their Battery Tenders and work between them; then roll them back and motor right out the garage door. Installed motion and camera system last year and going to install in-floor front wheel chocks with locks. Not that I'm in a bad hood but I travel a bit so it adds a little more piece of mind.
I didn't get the full Termi installed at the dealer at delivery mostly because it wasn't back from Jet Hot yet and I want my friend to use it for some thermal testing. I gave him the headers before they went to Jet Hot and he'll get them again when they get back, coated.
I'm also looking at various heat reflective materials for under the seat, inside the header pipe cover, (the carbon one that comes with the Termi pipes has a half ass version of some kind of reflective material but it is .... for quality) and perhaps even for the inside of the cowling and fairings. I'm undecided on what to get so am going to ask my thermodynamic genius friend what he thinks about that stuff too.
Just over 200 miles on it since Saturday morning and enjoying it more and more. Wrists are still a bit sore but that just tells me I need to work on my abs a bit to strengthen my core.
Going to change the oil this weekend. I've checked that PITA oil sight glass every evening when I get home and if it's burned any, it is a very, very small amount. It hasn't smoked at all since about mile 60 except on first start up in the morning.
Also, I haven't yet installed the Shorai but will let you know when I do. I've have zero starting problems!
