Finally on a Ducati

Well it has been a long time coming and i finally made it to Ducati. My first 2 bikes were both Yamaha, an 09 R6 and an 09 R1 which were both a lot of fun but as soon as i test rode the 1199 there was no way i was leaving the dealer without it. So i traded in the R1 and am now a very proud owner of a base 1199. everything about this bike is amazing and i cant wait for spring to come. ive been riding for about 2 years now but this bike is something special and cant wait to get down to deals gap next summer and start racking up the miles.

Where in WV? I have a 1098 mounted friend who just moved to Morgantown who's dying to find new riding mates.

You're gonna love the 1199.
 
thats a nice shot in your living room, is that where you keep it when not riding? i bet the R1 is outside under a tarp or soimething HAHAHA
you'll enjoy the 1199 that much more than the R1!!
 
Congrats! I just bought the 1199 in September and have racked up over 4K miles so far. I can't get enough of riding it! Enjoy.
 
thanks everyone for the warm welcome. i actually traded the R1 in for the 1199. as of now i only have 165 miles on it and with winter actually kicking in i doubt ill get much more riding in. i do live in morgantown so if your friend wants to go for a ride im down. there is a monster and 848 evo in town but ive got the first 1199. with the graves set up on the R1 it sounded amazing, but cant compare to the 1199. ive already ordered a evotech tail tidy and some euro signals for the rear and some tech spec tank grips.
 
thanks, are there any yearly get togethers at deals gap by chance? i really want to get down there this summer.
