I pick up my new V2 Friday. Was just wondering if there are any special financing rates, or if interest rates on Motorcycles tend to run higher? I gave excellent credit and was just wondering what to expect. I'm in California if that makes a difference?

Financing for motorcycles, boats, etc tends to run a bit higher than cars but if you are tier 1, I'd try to get 4% for sure.

Some places if the recreational vehicle is over $10k, they will use normal vehicle rates, but it depends on who is issuing the loan.

The only detraction I'd give Ducati Financial is that they are antiquated in how they take payments. There's no online electronic payments. The best you can do is over the phone, which isn't bad after the first one. After the system recognizes your number and asks if you want to repeat the last payment. It's not a bad system, it just feels dated.

Yeah its mind boggling how DF doesn't have any online support for payments. I mean the mother company is VW so its not like they can't do it.

Contact your local bank or credit union, both of my bikes were done under 3%.

well apparently we're heading for massive inflation so 3% seems great

I just got 3.8% through VW but I had to drive across Pennsylvania (270 miles) to get it as my local dealer claimed the best they could do was 7.8%. Seems odd that they couldn't get the same rate through VW.

Assuming the finance amount was the same, credit tier etc., to get half the rate for taking a road trip is an amazing feat.
