Great write up. Note with interest the reviewers quick shifter comments. "it is a joy to use on the road, making up-changes lazy affairs which leave the left hand to get on with the mundane job of switching and cancelling indicators." contrary to some other comments on other threads related to that topic.

While I expected the DQS to be modulated for hard track use, I found that I couldn't fault it for much more lazy 'everyday' changes. At first I instinctively changed in the normal way with the DQS on only to find that I was getting in the way. After that I left the DQS to do it's thing. No problems at all.

yup, went thru all the debate of do i really need a sport bike now scenario
thanks for posting

Exactly my feeling too. It's so much smoother than my K1300s. Feels almost like a DSG box. According to others here it's only for when youre at full throttle up changes. Hence the ongoing debate over false neutrals and hypothetical causes.

:)...as I've stated in other threads, no need for redline/ aggressive riding to utilize DQS, just steady increase in speed/rpm and you get a shift so smooth its like an automatic..

cheers

Good report, and I can't wait to get mine, but I'll save judgement on the Panigale vs Ferrari aspect. :~)> My McLaren is batsh*t insane fast, and comfortable to boot. Supercars are coming precariously close to sportbike performance these days. 0-60 in 3-flat (or less - I'm looking at you, 911 TurboS), incomparable handling, and serious comfort are going to be standard amidst the supercar segment in the coming years.

Very nice write up. Glad I didn't waste money on the Termis. The $5 sticker should do the trick, nobody will even know :D .

hehe ...I do plan to take my baffles out at least...the trick is securing caps back on nicely with rivets

Please don't put termi "stickers" on your stock pipes... That's like putting M3 badges on a 328 haha

Not before you make a YouTube video on how to shift gears for all us novices out there that need your help.

I wouldn't, but at the same time why not? the stock pips have always been made by Termingnoni (since the 999 anyway) lol

Um right.. Just everyone at Starbucks... nothing classes up a beautiful Ducati like a couple of cheap Termi Stickers.

Mutley, is there really not much difference in sound from the stock pipes compared to termi,s?? i rode the demo s with the full termi race kit on and it sounded superb, especially on the overrun.
