My first track day on my 1199s, and it a blast. The quick shift, slipper clutch, DTC, EBC, Ohlins suspension, all made the thing handle wickedly. The event was held by RideSmart at Cresson Motorsports Ranch. Photos are taken by Hart Photography. I have some video that im editing and will post it when done. I also went one session with the traction control on level 8 just to see how much it would intervene so i will post that as well.

The "real" tricolore is having one white, one black and one red Ducati. :)

Just two more to go for me....

haha they are not all mine. my father rode the white one and my buddy on the black 848. and the beer was from the night before i promise haha

well in Texas the white perforated is a necessity hahah

So how was the heat out there. I really want to hit up a track day but I've been waiting for it to cool off a bit. Probably next month.

What part of DFW are you located?

it only got up to 96. no one really showed up because of the rain chance but the cloud cover kept it very nice! i hope it is that way on labor day at TWS.

FYI - Ducati recommends NOT using tie-downs to the throttle, since it can damage the ride-by-wire sensors. I use black straps around the fork tubes on the inside of the fairing to which the tie-down straps are attached.
