23k for a 2017 1299s. Your mention of the cost for the exhaust and labor isn't worth mentioning at all since that part doesn't really add any value to your bike. You'd be better off taking it off n selling the bike with the stock exhaust n sell the akra separately. Unfortunately, these Italian beauties dont hold value in the resale market.

Cut the guy some slack...

Yamaha Financial is like putting the bike on a credit card

He prolly still owes more than that on it!

Who straps a bike like that? I'd be surprised if the forks aren't bent out. Invest the $40 into some Canyon Dancers for God sakes!

I'm sorry to rain on the parade. You've got about 18k worth of bike here. You got ripped off on the exhaust by a few thou. 1. Never use the dealer that sold you that bike & exhaust again. 2. Unfortunately, you're going to take a big bath on the resale.

Yeah whats the story with this thing??? Definitely looks like some towing company improperly strapped that thing down to a flat bed. Bike broke and off to the dealer?? Just another 99 not rare, member joined yesterday no posts definetely red flags!!!

This thread is highly entertaining. I feel bad for the seller getting hosed... amused by his display of behavior that got him hosed in the first place. No research, no self awareness.

With his 1st post on this forum being a for sale ad of a bike and not having done any market research for the value of his bike and to top it all off, calling his bike rare.....the posts that followed should be expected. Just sayin

I personally own a 1299 and don’t get me wrong they’re fantastic bikes but no way your getting that let alone over 20k for her. You’re better off just selling the exhaust separately because remember you’ll never get back what you put into it. I could just spend 5k more than your asking price and get a 2020 Ducati v4S honestly. Good luck with sale though!

You sound like the guy on eBay selling Akra full systems

“This is the way...” “The only way”

There is a mint 17S by me. 500 miles on it. And a tempting price tag too. I know better tho. Buying a Ducati is just the beginning. Even just a nice 520 chain conversion is well over a grand by time ya get everything. And right now that is looking like March. And March is not even for certain!

This is the way
Are you a foundling taken in by the Death Watch? Making you a Child of the Watch? Part of those creepy religious Mandalorian groups/families that broke away from Manhalorian society back in the day. With a goal to bring back ancient way that never removes his helmet? Or part of the rebel groups that removes their helmets all the time? Yes I know too much time on my hands LOL

No way! He only joined up to advertise his bs. Not a valued forum member

If Canyon Dancers are the bare minimum, what is the absolute best way to tie down to a rental trailer?

I specify “rental” because in a personal trailer you know I’d be going for the Pitbull TRS

Thanks!
