I'm about to change my fork cartridges. Any considerations regarding the removal of the old ones?

Can it be done on the bike or do I need to remove them?

Can I leave the old compression adjuster screws or, do I need to find other bolts to shut the holes?

Donno, mine are still in the box. 4th set of Marzocchis are actually working pretty well. Probably just because I got the cartridges now:rolleyes:

Yes, there are a number of considerations. No, remove the compression adjusters.
No, don't do it on the bike.
Sounds like you should have it done professionally.

I'm on my fifth set of forks but I've been told they are a different part number to the old ones
So I'm going to try these before I change the inserts any body else had these new forks ?
