About 1000 track miles on the 1199S since the fork seals were replaced. Left fork has a little thin line of oil developing. No where near enough to actually run off the fork. (sorry, wiped it off before I could think of taking a picture)
I don't think much of it but thought I would toss the question out.
Should I replace my fork seals this winter before next track season?
Ohlins electronic forks, stock, 8500 miles total. Track bike now.
thanks for sharing any experience with me. paul

Fork Sea;s

Curious,

wheel/tire change done by a Ducati specialist service company.
what could they have done that would lead to this???

I fail how to see the fork legs can twist when the triple tree is done up upper/bottom and not taking a significant impact to tweak them.

The coating on the fork legs can wear away documented on YouTube long term Panigale use.

if they do pinch bolts first and fail to properly align the fork legs, it will leak.

Exactly. The lower stanchions can rotate if no weight is applied to the fork. If the forks weren't aligned properly before the pinch bolts are secured it can cause harmful stress to the form tube and seal.
