Here are my newly installed Sato with shock support bracket.
Search on the forum's highly regarded, track road crash proven,
at least this is what I found from the reviews

You have exactly the setup I was considering for myself! Did you have to mod the clutch cover or the heat shield? On the Sato website it says that their frame slider isnt compatible with the Ducati clutch cover, so just wondering.

thanks a lot!

Brad

I used a dremel to round off a piece of the shield to make it work. Sorry, I wouldn't know about the clutch cover.

I just had to cut the front mounting tab off the carbon clutch cover, I may end up using the high strength black RTV silicone the GM type to temp bond the carbon to the mag cover for more protection & aid in its missing mount

Correct. Price is for a set/kit. Left and right...

Here is the link for the TRex

T-Rex 2012 2013 2014 Ducati 1199 Panigale Clutch cover - Frame Sliders No Cut | eBay

£367.11 versus £102.07

But a Bursig Stand will not work with Trex

Well I went with the Sato's like them so far. They look good were easy to install. Hope they never get used.. But if they dont i aint riden hard enough..

We sell both the Sato and R&G kits, both are recommended. The Sato are a little easier to install, and the R&G are a little stronger. We just had a Tricolore go down at our track day last weekend with the R&G's on it and it saved the entire side of the bike, only damage was a broken shift lever. Also a Pikes Peak Multi with the R&G sliders and also no damage to the side of the bike or tank. If you crash hard (flip, high side, etc.) then all bets are off with ANY sliders, but for a low side these seem to do the trick.

We have them both listed here:

I went with the Sato sliders myself and I did have a friend that unfortunately used them on a low side. They definitely saved his bike from more damage than it would have received without them.

I had mine installed by the dealer and they just put a spacer in to compensate for the added thickness of the cover.

Really like my Satos. Nice and clean. EZ install. Just had to drill out the hole on the cylinder head heat shield a mil or two to fit the spacer for the bracket. No biggy.

Where to purchase GSG crash protectors

I installed GSG
http://www.gsg-mototechnik.de/00ducati/ducati-pangiale-1199/ducati-pangiale-1199.htm

Pretty expensive, but top quality, even replacement screws are properly calculated for strength. No modification of bike required, and fairing can be taken off without removing the sliders.

They are successfully making crash protections since two decades.

How did you purchase them, from the gsg-mototechnik.de website or from a different company?
