For Sale FREE!!! Alpinestars SMX Plus Boot Size 41

Have an old pair of A* SMX Plus boot free to a good home. Size 41. They’re probably 8 yrs old but still in fairly good condition. They have kissed the deck once and have a little wear on them but still structurally sound (from what I can tell). Still have a decent sole and life to them. I’d hate to throw them out. Whoever wants them just pays shipping (probably $15-20). Let me know.

Just for another data point, I find Astar boot sizing inaccurate. I’m a 9/9.5 in all kinds of footwear. I wear a 42/43 in Dainese D1’s. I tried Supertech in 43 and they were too big. I then ordered both 41 and 42 and surprisingly, the 42 was a little loose (especially considering potential break-in) and the 41 was a little tight.

The 41’s might have broken in enough to fit, but I didn’t want to risk it. The Supertech vented is the most well-ventilated boot I’ve tried.

A few manufacturers say their 48 will fit a 14 US, which isn't the case. I wear a 14 in Nike, Brooks, New Balance etc.

Alpinestars 49 is the only boot I can wear.

I know this is weird but whenever i see sizes smaller than 10, it almost feels like kids size lol

That said, I'm about a 12 in nikes, adidas, etc and a astar 45 fits just right. 46 is a tiny bit loose. I think they run a tiny bit big in my opinion. Sidis and dainese, 46.

I think the new lasts A* that uses now are different from 8-10 years ago. I just picked up a pair of Dainese Torque 3 Out in 40 and they’re perfect. 7.5 in running shoes
