I took off BST wheels and replaced them with the new OZ GASS wheels on my 1199S:

I only went on one ride with them, but I can't tell the difference between the BST and the GASS wheels - especially with new tires. The turn in is about the same.
The GASS wheels are very light for forged aluminum wheels and about $1000 difference in price...:)

You went for a ride on the road and can't feel the difference between the new wheels . I actually don't find that surprising .

Feel is a funny thing though, some people are more sensitive to feel than others....and I'm not talking about placebo or wanting to feel something to justify a change.

What are you going to do with the BST??

Moto - did you weigh them at all before you put them on, just for comparison?

I am looking at wheels, I am to interested in the weight of the GASS as on all the sites its not clear or I don't believe them!

Choice for me is
OZ Peiga in black or S/R wheels, don't want to pay for Mags, don't like the styles of the Carbons except 7k priced ones.
Interested in all opinions and pictures to ease my pain!

Forgot to do that.
I sold the BST wheels already but we might have some OZ GASS wheels in stock that we can weigh.

Of the wheels that we have weighed, the GASS are about a pound lighter per wheel than the Piega.
But more importantly, I was told the outer rim of the GASS wheels are thinner and lighter because of the extra support provided by additional spoke.
