..... and then I got a DES! 
While assembling the CNC-Racing switch block, I checked it and it all functioned properly. However, when I took the bike out for a spin, my hazard lights spontaneous started flashing and I couldn't no longer turn them off.
To ascertain the problem was this CNC switch block, I refitted the OEM switch block and the problem was gone. With the conclusion that the CNC switch block must be malfunctioning, I contacted CNC.
Those guys at CNC-Racing made no argument about this and send me another one. I hope to receive it soon...
