Ive just commisioned a V4 base model for my track work. Still have my 1299, and i'm not adapting to well onto the V4. Have the Ohlins shock on the rear and had some shim work done to the stock Showa forks. Any opinions, recommendations for set up would be great .

Fgrt 214 for front, ttx GP for rear. That's best Ohlins option without going crazy expensive for forks.

This . The Showa BPF is okay if setup right but when you really start pushing them they are vague.

Im finding it to be to responsive from very little input . The 1299 needs to be muscled into and through corners. I know i need to adapt :(
I put the forks down through the clamps looking to stabilise , but this made the bike very jittery , so I went the other way and lowered the front showing 2 rings and found it better. I know it sounds opposite as I have lost trail . The rear feels very sorted.
Have to research the FGRT 214 . Thanks
Im doing 2 days at Phillip Island next month so I should get a better understanding there.
