Just wondering if it’s possible to remove the front plug without pulling radiators?
i have the front suspension out, looking at the you tube vids it seems we need to pull the rads? Has anyone done it without pulling the Rad?
my bike has 12000km on clock and no running issues is it worth the effort ? The rear one I did a while back when I had a faulty MAP sensor and k had mistaken the misfire for the rear plug

With the right tools, you can "manipulate" the radiators in the mount without removing them at least some have done this successfully. When I had H2O build my radiators I had them move the "window" up to allow easy access to the front plug. I can change the front plug in 2 min. Another fantastic engineering consideration by the Ducati engineers. Lets put an access panel in the radiator housing that allows access to absolutely nothing. ....... genius. 12000KM, that's a bunch.

You can try loosening radiators completely but not disconnecting hoses, this will give you more flexibility in moving radiators and access the plug. You WILL have too support radiators with bungee cord, also put piece of cardboard on inside of radiator to prevent bending fins with your hands. It will be tight, good luck.
Personally I would remove radiators since these bikes have issue with leaking valve cover gaskets and it would be perfect time to check for that and if there is issue address it with new gasket and install pre drilled bolts so you can safely wire them.

Is 12000km on OEM plug a lot? The service manual says replace at 24K? With the front suspension out the way I’m halfway there was hoping to skip it to be honest
the old rear plug did not look bad

For anyone else reading, just take the radiatior off, its not that hard and you really need that extra room. my front 1199 plug went at 4000 miles but 7 years in age
