Hey guys so i joined this forum I need of some help. The bike is a 2013 ducati 899, my friend got into an accident a year ago. So I not a professional but I have a pretty good mechanic background so I’m trying to help my friend out since he can’t get an appointment with Ducati till the season is over. So I figured I would try and Yelp him, so the triple tree is straight from the top looking down, but once you ride the front wheel is cocked to the left if you were sitting down on the bike, and if you at the front wheel from the front over the front end you can see how much it’s shifted over. I loosen the front calipers, yoke, and loosened the from nut to the front axle to pump the front end to see if would naturally got back to it’s original position no luck. Wheel is still shifted. So I’m here to see if someone could possibly help me and my friend out i will post some pictures below.
Thanks guys
Ride safe

Loosen up the lower pinch bolts on the forks. Then you get on the bike and push it up and down. Then tighten them down, then tighten the Axel nut.
I will retighten everything to spec and try that again, thanks Dcpanni

First pull the axle, look at the bottom leg of each fork and look at the axle. Then you will understand how it goes together and in what order

Well I basically tired everything in my knowledge, I can’t seem to get this tire wheel to shift to its normal position. I will assume that the yoke is not straight and probably got bents on the day of the accident thanks for the input guys

Removing the triple clamps is an easy job, once you have all the components apart then its a case of measuring everything using the right tools. The bike looks in good condition, usually a big crash is needed to bend the clamps

Did you take it apart and look at it? It’s “normal position” is determined by the left leg if everything is tightened in the correct sequence

I did not remove all the upper components I loosened the triple tree the yolk at the bottom the forks are able to move up and down and I tightened everything in its sequence and everything is still so shifted over to the left

Why are the brakes in front of the forks? I'm guessing you've got things assembled incorrectly. Lots of parts diagrams online. Shop manuals as well. Assemble correctly and then watch video on changing front tire.

No!!!! I removed them and swung them to the front. I was removing the tire on and off.

I'd suggest it's unlikely a bent yoke unless he's bent the forks. I would lossen the top and bottom yokes, double check that the wheel spacers are in, then tighten it all back up. If you think that the yoke is bent, pull the stanchions out and check they're straight.

When you slide the axle through does it line up easily? That's a fairly easy way to tell if things are bent. If it does line up easily then are you sure you have the left and right spacers on correctly? They are not symmetrical and if on the wrong side then you can have the wheel sitting off center.

Basically, is it bent or is it shifted over?
