I need some advice i had my sag adjusted correctly for my weight but now my front wheel feels kinda like it slides/slips in corners like its not making good contact with the road.
Long story short i dont know if I need to soften or tighten my suspension compression/rebound or my steering damper?
I have a Panigale S i have no idea what i am doing when it comes to the electronic side of things so advice will be much appreciated if possible.
Thanks

My front end feels the same way. I've tried many adjustments and I am starting to think that's just the way the front end feels on this bike.

It sounds like you need to put your preload back on the spring, back off your compression dampening and leave your rebound alone.

Difficult to judge from this minimal information.
No, properly setup panigale feels very nice and confident at the front.

What was done to your preload? Did you add preload because you had to much sag before?

It could be too much compression damping, meaning the bike is unable to absorb bumps, thus the wheel skips on bumpy corner.
Or it could be rebound damping, which can go both ways. To much means not enough rebound to push the tyre back to surface after suspension is compressed by a bump. Too little means the bike pogo around the corner and the front would feel wallowy, and shakes side to side a bit even.

What riding : track or road?

Tyre pressure is spot on? Incorrect pressure can feel that way too, and pirelli is quite sensitive in that.

As an uneducated way to treat this, get your tyre pressure right, then try changing rebound damping +2 one way and see if it helps. If not, try the other way. And if that doesn't help, put it back to where it was and try the compression damping.

Definitely not.

Very stable front end when set up correctly.

The stock tires get dicey as they age, but you get used to it. To the point it feels intuitive.

If you add Q3's you will get more midline stability, with a little slower tip in.

I like 35mm "total" sag on the front. So roughly 20mm of weighted sag from you the rider sitting on seat leaned over tank.

Hi sorry I know my information is minimal I really don't know to much :)
The guy seem to loosen my preload (Loosened off the nut) But he didn't seem to adjust the front end at all he said it was bang on. but he adjusted the back from 30 to 35? I think sorry he kinda just did it he didn't really explain it.
The bike does feel a lot nicer to ride not as rough as before but I know I can get it better because when I adjusted the compression/rebound in the settings it feels better/worst unfortunately I am very inexperienced so I just don't know what to set it as and most forums don't really offer a detailed guide into Panigale S suspension setup, a lot of people seem to just be guessing the settings that feel best for them.

My Details are:

Riding on the Road 99% of the time
Tyres - Front 32psi - Rear 30psi (Cold)
My Weight & height - 179cm/73Kg

Suspension setup is:
Front Compression = 25
Front Rebound = 18

Rear Compression = 15
Rear Rebound = 10

Hope this is a bit more helpful :)

So update
After tweaking the compression/rebound i finally got it just right for me both wheels feel more planted and smooth then ever before i am finally happy :)

Cool.

Quite soft front compression settings. Your roads are very bumpy?
Mine are set at 16 Fcomp 14Freb, 18Rcomp 16 Rreb.

Mind you mine has been resprung to my weight, and the valving has been adjusted/freed up a little so it would be expected for mine to run on "tighter number" but it may be flowing more oil than stock.

How heavy are you?
The best suspension starts with a "workable" bodyframe..I have to stay in shape or else my bike is out of sync....Do you have a plump .......?..
If so, forget about "settings"...

I've been the exact same weight and size for like 20 years now I think ill be ok :)
And my ....... is made for panigale.

Yeah at higher speeds on the roads where I live 200kph+ roads can get pretty rough if you're not ready for it they can send you bucking off your seat :(
