The akro mapping has made my panigale a hellishly hot track only bike.

Is it feasable or will it cause problems to run a stock or close to stock map? I can then flash the akro map for track days.

I enjoyed my time on stock exhaust around city and dont want a track only bike.

if you have full exhaust installed, with stock map it will run very very lean...as in you have way more airflow now, and not increasing gas, this means bike runs hotter.

I would not recommend this buddy. get ya some leathers, pants, and dont sit in traffic...heat wont be so much of an issue

Agree with Jag, the right map is important. Heat is a byproduct of combustion i.e the bike is making a lot more power with a full system so it will produce more heat. These bikes by virtue of their engine architecture with 2 cylinders and their exhaust pipes under the middle of the bike are simply going to be hotter than an inline 4 . More power means more air and fuel are required so if you add more air flow with a pipe but restrict fuel with a stock map you are asking for trouble.
