It looks really good to me! I don't see fragile looking tabs, or anymore fragile than the stock stuff.

Seems like a good deal.

Price wise yes. Just wondered how those tabs will stand up to use, if you take the fairings off regularly. The plastic ones are bad enough.

CDT is arguably the best carbon fiber. Period. Their nose fairing is ~$800 alone. Not sure how this company can sell an entire set for $1300. It's either very poor quality, not actually pre-preg, or they are insane for undercutting everyone else so hardcore.

Our Manufacturing process

Racecon Carbon fiber is pre-impregnated (i.e. pre-preg) with epoxy resin. It is then laid into the mould and covered with releasing films and agents. The entire piece is then bagged and vacuumed clean of air. From there the piece is inserted into an autoclave, which is, basically, a large oven. The parts are heated to cure the carbon fiber and then the part is finished. Dry carbon parts can be produced with a much lower weight than wet lay-up parts since there is much less resin used (hence the “dry” name) and with a higher strength.Finished in epoxy high gloss.

Hmmm...

Every heard of dishonesty?

I don't know what the raw material costs, but if I had to venture a guess I might say it was around their for sale price.

It would be hilarious if this is legit CF for that price and low volume, and just the termi manifold (a piece of bent steel pipe) is $2k at higher volume. So for about the same price, you can have a full CF body kit, or near as makes no difference, a set of DP rearsets...lol

Even if it is real, why would they undercut everyone else by such an extreme margin? Are they a business that does not want profits?

They're smart IMO. I would never spend 4k on carbon fairing, but I am considering this. So they've gained a prospective customer for a product I marked off my list long ago.

Good point. I actually was also starting to consider now, where I wasn't before, but AFTER I read a review of it by someone on here :) Like I said, it does make some of the other Ducati accessory prices seem even more absurd when compared to this apparent bargain.

Funny how things change. When I first bought a CDT part about 6 years ago hardly anyone knew of them. When you mentioned Slovenia as the source, people were arguably even more sceptical. There was a time when MS Productions and CM Composit, both reknowned carbon manufacturers, were THE companies to purchase from. CDT has really raised the bar and I cannot fault their products. I bought a monoposto seat for the 1098 with matching undertray from their UK distributor and it was flawless. Seems as though they have cottoned on though, as their pricing has crept up over the last 12 months! A year prior to that I bought a CF biposto seat for the same bike from Ducati and it was total crap, pinholes and stretched weave everywhere, plus it was around 300 pounds dearer. How DP can sell half their stuff is beyond me. On a positive note however, at least the Termignoni system on the Panigale is better than the 1098 system, which looked like a three year old had welded it together. One reason why I bought a full Akrapovic system for the 1098.

In their manufacturing process they forgot to mention one key part of the autoclave process.

They have a lot of positive feedback on the ebay site so it can't be complete crap. I'm not really into the carbon fiber thing but you could probably resell it for the same price if it is poor quality

I boughtb CDT CF for the first time ebvr based on recommendations from this forum. I can't think why I would put a sub standard product on a 21K Euro bike. However if the quality is good I would consider it.

I think I just may pass this up and stick being White. (To the primer calling ........ its actually called primer color in the 2013 manual...) lol
