Hi all,
Recently had a wreck with my Panigale V2. Mostly cosmetic damage and have been able to do a lot myself but only thing left is to fix my dented/scraped gas tank. Looking online I can only find one for sale that’s in good condition under $1100 but am looking for a not so costly fix as I feel like mine is possibly salvageable. Located in Charlotte, NC.

perhaps a whole tank carbon cover? cheesy but would get the job done...you can fine them about 300-500

Find a pdr guy, let him work his magic, then take it to a good body shop.

Looks like you already JB welded it. Slap some bondo over it and call it a day if you don’t care what it looks like. But don’t expect perfection

I havnt welded anything. Definitely want it to look perfect, it’s practical as of now but going for cosmetics as well.

Was thinking about this if I were to go with black aftermarket fairings, only one I can find for a reasonable price is off aliexpress and that itself worries me.

PDR? Also, any recommendations on body shops near Charlotte, NC?

PDR - paintless dent repair. Watch some videos - some of the things they’re able to do rival sorcery. lol

No idea regarding a body shop near you. Maybe post in the Ducati panigale FB group and someone local can make a recommendation.

Awesome. Thanks a lot for info!

It's hard to find a body shop that will work on motorcycles. Most body shops now just want insurance jobs from soccer moms. You'd be best to seek out a shop that will do custom work or restoration type stuff. They will likely be better skilled and have more pride in their work.
