Hi all,

i would appreciate it if anyone can recommend a reliable and stable crash protection for the swing arm of a Panigale v4.

I dont feel those that only stick with adhesive are stable enough. I believe at lest one bolt is mandatory

So, any suggestions?

The original Ducati one, with the titanium insert (crazy expensive) or some carbon aftermarket?

Thank you in advance!

Can vouch that the DP carbon cover with insert is flimsy and will not hold up even though it is screwed in place. I no longer bother and just live with the scratches but if I was to add protection I'd consider an after market carbon cover and beef it up so it can take a slide. I like this style with a kevlar pad

To add you have to view these covers as very disposable as in they usually get munted in the first decent off.

I went with a FullSix one this time. Bolts to the swingarm in two places and clips underneath. I’ve no idea how much protection it would provide.

A slider attaches where it has the indented bit - mine came with that fitted.

I like how the DP cover uses a titanium slider. In the end, I figure my boot would just scuff the crap out of what ever carbon bit I attached to the swingarm. Maybe after a left side crash add a carbon cover.

Thank you all!

There are some good ideas.

The trick is im considering some track days now and then and i dont want to risk something fly off the bike on track. So the bolts are more for peace of mind so to say.
