Standard shift.

Tried reverse on my 675. Kicking up to downshift felt weird and I felt less well locked in to the bike in heavy braking zones. Most places I thought reverse shift could be useful can be dealt with by short shifting. Also, if I'm going to screw up a shift because I got lazy in the moment I'd rather it be an upshift than a downshift.

I've always had standard shift. I definitely see where GP would be useful; however, my current bike is a Multistrada so it wouldn't really do anything on that bike.

Way back when, I was a bit apprehensive about switching from OEM. But I rode my buddies 888 and within 20 min I was converted! since then, all my bikes have been race/GP shift pattern.
