Hi everyone,

I tried searching but to no avail.

Has anyone done GP shift on their Panigale V2 ?
What's needed and what's the best way to do it ?

Thanks in advance.

Could always go with rearsets and get a 2fer. You’ll get adjustable position and ability to run traditional or GP. Put a similar set as these on my V4 recently and although they were expensive seem really good quality.

You can switch the OEM rearsets on the V4 to GP shift. Those Ducati/Rizoma V2 ones look like they have the screw you can thread in to make them fixed instead of folding too.

I changed my 2021 V2 to GP shift using OEM parts, but it was not the best experience. You have to flip the shifter upside down (black plastic faces down instead of OEM up), and you have to grind off a bit of the metal on the rod to keep it from rubbing on the rear sets. I had to also grind off a bit of the short connecting arm since the whole assembly stuck out too far. You also have to swap the +5 and -5 wires on the connector. I eventually just purchased some Woodcraft rearsets in GP shift and then put everything back to the OEM setup. I suggest just saving up and getting rearsets.

I flipped over the shift rod, swapped the wires in the plug and machined a couple of mm of face of the splined shift arm where the QS rod attaches. The fiddly bit was adjusting the rod length as the stock one sucks for that

Just put the RIzoma's on my 2021 Panigale V2. Absolutely love them, and the come with the ability to install either as standard shift or GP. A quick web search will turn up new sets for ~$600

Link to Rizoma ones?

Best bet is eBay if you don't want to pay retail. Rearsets Rizoma for sale | eBay

worth mentioning that the official Rizoma instructions for installation are prtty good. I've seen guys get snarky about "who needs instructions to install rearsets?" - I, for one, appreciated the step-by-step sequence, and also the torque settings and detailed info about each bolt/ what flavor of loctite, etc..
