Just flip the lever right ? Shouldn't have any clearance issue right?

No, there's a threaded hole on the back of the actual shifter. Moved the rod from the top hole on the rear set to this hole.

Anyone you know shot a video of it?

No, sorry. Just look at the rear set and it's easy once you see it. You only need to move one bolt but you will need to take the left side fairing off.

That's not too bad!!!

Only one panel off...

Thanks for the tips!!!

If nothing goes wrong, going in to dealership to buy one end of this month.

You don't need an aftermarket rearset. Literally, look at the shifter pedal. There are two holes there. One has the shift linkage already connected to it. Remove the bolt holding it to that hole, and literally install it to the only other hole there.

Stop overthinking it.

You don't know how happy that makes me!!!

I thought the OEM rearset is perfect where it is, coming from a bmw S1KRR, I thought to myself, Ducati has nail this ergonomic from the start!!!

if you have an Akra, I needed to add some spacers to the shift bolt to push the shift rod back a little so it wouldn't push the lower fairing forward getting in the way of the kickstand.

Good to know...bouncing back between akra and Termi exhaust. Still can't make up my mind...[emoji23]

Removing left fairing just easier, so your anxiety of scratching the fairing for noob operators, like me, wont be too high

lol

I have a V4R now here for initial service.
it is not new but from Duc dealer. installed is the rizoma/duc rear-set with gp shift.
bike is track only, first time for testing is in Spain, it has to work then. So i have a few questions to get familiar with it.
1: the gearchange lever angle is not really 90°, i smell shifting issues?
2: the ratchet mechanism is not smooth, if i engage a gear and release slowly it fells very rough.even with removed linkage. normal?

i am installing the rizoma rearsets right now. so i have a few similar questions.

Chris16, looks like you removed the chain guard. When trying to fit mine to GP shift, it seems like i need to trim the chain guard to make it fit. Anyone know if this is true?
