As for ideas---get the evap canister removed. Get the dashboard replaced due to ECU being failure prone. Rearsets and grips swapped out for aftermarket units. Do those things, beat the common failures to the punch and enjoy your ownership

Just up the Tollway from you in Frisco... I ride with some track junkies up here in McKinney. Let me know if you'd like to explore some spirited rural riding...

Sure thing, I'm actually in Aubrey about 20 min from Mckinney but yea I'd like to go riding ^.^
Join MeetUp.com and request to join a group called The AirBenders - DFW Sportbike Riders Group. That's the group I ride with. It's 95% riding and 5% fellowship versus some of the other groups you might find. Some of the guys are instructors for Ridesmart, some are CMRA racers and some like me just love to ride whether that be the street or track.
Many times the rides are posted a day or less than when we ride but if you've joined Airbenders you'll get an email for the ride. Typically it's a Sat or Sunday morning kickoff from the Racetrack in McKinney and then off to Wolfe City. Typically do about 200 miles or so.

I just got the 2012 base. Could have gone S w/abs but I got a really great deal on the base. I'm happy with it and dont regret it
