Welcome!!! Pm me your email addy if you wanna ride sometime...

Congrats on the new 1199s ducatidallas. The white one is really nice looking.

Thanks NIX. Looking forward to getting back on 2 wheels. It's been 2 years almost. I'm sure there will be some early jitters to shake.

Hey Stw and Ducatidallas, what is it like riding in TX?

Yesterday my boss asked me if I want to relocate to Dallas and of course one thing that crossed my mind was what the riding was like there.

Being from the PNW I'm used to lots of hills and curvy mountain riding.

Hey Man...

well no mountains that's for sure..lol.. But there are quite a few nice twisty/sweeper type roads... Probably better than you would think... But is it up to Washington state standards??? Probably not... You just need to readjust you expectations.. I moved here from Georgia.. and I have adapted...

PS.. Weather is much better than Seattle area...

I have to get with you and other Dallas riders in the future when I am back. I would like to venture out to some roads.

Thanks for the feedback! You definitely got me on the weather!

I'm sure you know since you did the relocation thing and moving outside your comfort zone to a new area brings up some questions.

How many tracks are in the area for track days?

Close to Dallas I can think of 2 immediately... although I am not a track whore..:D
If COTA ever does track days then you would have arguably the greatest track around just 3 hrs ride from you... No promises they ever will though...
