Hi all,

I just wanted to introduce myself. Living and working in Seoul. Just bought a new 1199R last winter and managed to complete the break in this march. Just love the bike. Have previously owned a Honda CBR 750, Yamaha FZ1, Suzuki GSXR 1000K3, same K5, triumph rocket III, ducati street fighter 1100S and now the 1199R. I just love the character and handling of the bike. It's like riding a bucking bronco when you open it up. my K5 made more power as it was setup Crescent UK with a full race exhaust and custom mapping but the power delivery was so smooth as to be boring.

Haven't had any problems with the bike except a leaking rocker panel which developed recently.

Korea is one if the best places in the world to ride a sport bike. Around 70% of all roads consist of winding mountainous twisties and the cops pretty much leave you alone if you are not acting too dangerous to the public. A couple of race tracks with accessible track days including the Yeongam F1 circuit, planning a track day there soon.

Cheers, adnan
