thanks mate, mine hasnt left vegas yet and I ordered the tool last week on ebay - but thats a very kind offer.
 
I'd want it back though yer hahaah just thought if yours already arrived n just waiting for the tool I'd express post to ya and send it back whenever
 
So.

I bought a temporary steel bolt from Lowe's while I was waiting for the Ti bolt from EBay.

Unfortunately, the head of the tapered head rounded out again. I ordered the regular socket head this time and hopefully that will be the end of this bolt. I didn't expect titanium to strip/round off similar to the bolts that came with the triple.

I am torquing it to 22NM. This is the pinch bolt for the stem nut. Am i overtorqueing or need a 12 point Allen head?

I would recommend going with a regular socket head bolt for this.

And I was gonna do mine today but my bike is at the shop. Lost all front braking 2 times on track day and then again this morning. Replacing the MC and Reservoir hopefully get it back Wednesday....

Well the first time at the last braking marker which I use for turn 1 I grabbed the brakes and the lever went to the grip.. Bled them back solid then it happened again, then stopped rest of the trackday and yesterday and today it happened on the road.

Are you saying that you've rounded off the head of the Steering nut itself ? I thought the torque for that was 25Nm ?
 
I was able to torque the regular socket head to 25NM. It seems very high for an M6 bolt though.

I'll see if I can dig up the specs.

Can someone here show us where the torque is for this bolt?
