Yes, fill to the top and bleed as usual. The V4 is a pain to bleed, so you'll likely need to do it multiple times to get all the air out.
I used a Motion Pro 275cc coolant recovery tank, seemed to work fine. Unfortunately I only had a few session with the H20 radiator before the front exhaust header failed. You don't need as much coolant expansion tank capacity with cooler operating temps.
My V4 is track only, no idea if you'd need/want to cover the radiator in cold daily riding conditions.
