Just wondering what’s the torque for the handlebar bolts (4) if I’ve to adjust the position of the handlebars on Streetfighter V4S?

M8 bolts are almost always 25Nm for Ducati controls.

IIRC, there's arrows which should be pointing to the back, noting which one gets tightened first. Its kind of a 1-2-1 thing IIRC. The back will be closed though.

Stolen pic...pay no attention to the bar but rather the caps.

All that said, if you are using a T-handle on the top part of the T you'd have to try really hard to mess it up.

Who makes that bar?

Thx.

I didn't quite understand the tightening order. Is it like this; 1. right-front 2. left-front 3. right-back 4. left-back. It was like that in Multistrada.

I always did it as a back (with the arrow) the front then back. From the factory the arrow side is closed and the non-arrow side is not. I never bothered with a torque wrench. I think the 25Nm is more to prevent over torquing than under torquing.

There's this post too but the OP clamped the front bolts first. However, I think BP is right in that the back should be clamped first.

Regardless the method/torque used, not a bad idea to check the integrity of the bolts every now and then. I did it the "right" way as above and on a recent ride, after braking real hard (moron cut me off), I noticed my mirrors were showing me a slightly different view. Anyway, one of the bolts was really loose and its partner was slightly loose.

I have painted witness marks on a lot of the more critical bolts on my bike. A quick glance I can see if anything has backed off. When I’m going for a track day I like to take the fairings off and check them with a torque wrench.
