I believe there are some people who are so pathetic they waste their time in insanely juvenile ways tryin to irritate and/or 'mess up' an Internet forum under the guise of some twisted and righteous revenge for fantasized wrongs.
... But succeed in merely illustrating how hollow and ridiculous their lives really are.

I haven't figured it out yet either, but it became a LOT less of a problem once I relegated the Pani strictly to "fun duty" on twisty country runs. Sitting on her in traffic is awful and I'm not sure there is anything to be done about it, but I have been watching the heat shield thread/poll closely since I am still running the old heat shields. There doesn't seem to be a clear consensus on whether or not the new ones make much difference though.

It makes a good differeneve
Mines a 13 s so it has the new stuff on it. I've seen a couple guys have removed the heat shield for the head and was wondering if that had changed anything. And yes slimming the thighs down would help but I'm not a little guy so that's out
