As far as I’m aware - there *is* a Ducati kit for the V2 (all years). I didn’t go for it because it’d be hugely more expensive than the ones I’ve got on all my bikes. Even of ai just use the Duc for summer rides - 6am starts in the UK can be as low as 5c in the middle of July.I could definitely do that. Was just hoping for the factory integrated deal. If the SF has had it, and the 21 PV4 has it, surely one should be able to retrofit the kit to a ‘20?
Then again, if it involves a whole new wiring harness or something that’s probably not where I’d look to go.
Is it true that the ‘21s allow for them?
The 21+ Panigale do have the switch for the heated grips and the wiring for them.
No. All models V2 have the capability for them. You need to buy the grips, fit them and then turn on the control functionality in the ecu.So does mean you just have to pay the dealer to turn the feature on?
The part comes with a new throttle housingThe 18-20 don't have the button on the throttle housing for them. If you don't have the button already, the Ducati part isn't for you. Just go aftermarket.
Ah...I can’t vouch for the V4, only the V2I've been told the wiring isn't there to accept the throttle housing button. But then again, that was a very quick (maybe a little too quick) response from my local dealer.
One of these days I'll get ambitious enough to dig up a wiring diagram and prove out of the '20V4 really doesn't have what all the SFV4s and V2s had.
I guess I’m the only one then who gets up at 5am to do a 1000mile weekend on his Panigale and the temperature is 5C.heated grips on a panigale ? -- GoldWings are another forum....
