I'm very sorry to hear this. I wish you the best and a speedy recovery. If you need help or just a sounding wall please reach out.

Maybe hold off and see how you recover from it ? I have a good friend that made a recovery well beyond what the "Doctors" told him he would"¦The human body is an amazing machine.

NOLA

Get well brotha be positive and no matter how bad someone always has it worse . Hope you get better soon never lose hope

Sloopy you are the man and thank you for sharing with all of us. I'm often reminded when guys like you are willing to be open with "us" and we are all brothers. It's hard to think about not being able to ride, but first things first taking care of yourself.

The Tri should get a good price (biased of course) and I'm guessing around $25,000'ish. As much as we bust each other's balls here, we all ride together! Be well.

Wishing you well Sloopy.

The 1199 isn't really something that can be ridden and enjoyed if your struggling physically, but then you do have the most beautiful version to look at :)

Always time for a quick polish, lubricate and clean!!

I wish you all the best to you sloopy. I'm somewhat "local" to you so if there anything I can ever help you with just pm me. I can also ask around for your bike if you pm me some more details on mods and the price.

Again, all the best to you and your family.

My prayers goes out to you and your family, be strong and fight the fight and come out better and stronger at the other end my friend.

I can see, you are still living life as best as you can. Just take the battle to this horrible decease ;)

Here's to you Sloopy......along with whatever it takes to kick this thing to the curb again. Power through it!

Not having any of that! Our friend Ray thought his left shoulder was ortho but was secondaries to primary prostate ca. He sold his Harley as too heavy and thought he wouldn't ride again and amazingly 15yrs later he is still riding a lighter bike!
That Ducati scrambler sure looks fun!
Casting a spell on you, may you ride as long as you want!

Good Luck !!!!

Family and health aways come before everything else.

i wish you the best

Get well Brother.

There will always be another bike out there.

Take care of yourself, and heal up.

Thank you all for the support and prayers. I can't tell you just how much it meant at the time I wrote this post.

Current news is all good. Was at Stanford last week and recent PET scan shows all areas under control and I am in remission. Arm is still a factor in that I have had treatment and recovering from is slow but expected. Even better they have placed me on a 4 month follow up which is one month longer than my past 3 months.

Due to the fact that I am 61 and set back physically from what I was a few years ago, I am going to sell my Tricolor; but with a much better outlook. I have so much to be thankful for and in the big picture this means very little. I have been a real car buff and may order a new Porsche when it sells.

Many thanks for all of your help when needed most.
