I Just picked up My 1199 base unit on Friday. ( former owner of a 1098S. ) looks like its going to be a good week to tryout the "wet mode" function its pooring rain in Boston.

hey there,
i'm from Boston as well, just picked up my Base from Cycle 128 on Friday as well, have you been able to ride it since? i have not due to the ...... weather...

Welcome to the forum. If you're looking for a Boston area sportbike group to ride with check out Boston Tier 1. There were 2 Panigales at MotoMarket in Acton at last Thursday's European Bike Night (mine and Mike's [he's from Medford]. Hopefully tomorrow will not rain, otherwise Lowell Bike Night will be a wash out. Enjoy your new ride.

Bought mine at cycles128 too. I bought my other two Ducati's from EasternCycle's in Beverly who was a fantastic small dealer. Did a brief ride on Sunday afternoon. was tempted to ride this morning, but thought twice I have a long commute and no place to hide if it opens up rain.
