well the time finally came and I bit the Bullet and picked up a 2013 1199 Pani from a friend back home.

Bone stock, Arctic White, but I have plans to replace all the bodywork with Red as soon as I get home

I'm currently on assignment out @ Camp Arifjan, and cant wait to get home in October to put my leg around her...

Congrats on the bike. Not sure why you would want to change to red, but if you are serious I may consider trading so let me know if you want to go that route. Have always liked the white bikes, I didn't know white was an option when I bought mine. Stay safe out there.

White is great......for paper. Ducatis are red.

Thanks for the kind words fellas! I should've checked back on this thread before I purschased all the replacement parts!!!!

In any case, I wanted to swap to red because I really wanted red. The plastic has a couple of "blemishes" from strapping it down to his trailer incorrectly. Sure, I could've purchased replacement white fairings to replace the slightly damaged ones, but it was just the excuse I needed to swap to all red. I'll probably take the tank and have it stripped to the aluminum and have it cleared at some point!
