Hello everyone. I've recently picked up a 1299S, it's my second Ducati as I had a Monster 1200 previously. To say that I am impressed with this machine would be a gross understatement. I have a couple of other bikes that are completely different in style and function, but I just love to ride. I've never owned a Superbike before, so this will be a fun learning experience.

I'm in Tacoma - let me know when you decide to take your 1299 to the track! The Ridge is a fantastic track and it's very close to us, there are a couple good organizers and it's nearly track season!

I've also got a 1299S, although it's fully converted over to race duty at this point.

Anyway let me know and I'd be happy to accompany you on your first trip.

Going to the track is a great experience and learning tool. Lots of great people there that will help guide you with good info. Once you hit the track there's nothing like it. I'm addicted to it now...

Take advantage of the track schools that come with the relaxed/novice group. Check out 2-Fast, Motofit Group, PSSR, and OPRT. It's the best way to enjoy your 1299!
