Is that a model of the pista, because the helmet on the bike is a gp tech. The back of pista looks like this.

IMHO, the Pista GP isn't a good road helmet for me. Last I heard the vent covers were removable (as in pieces that completely come out) and that won't work for my normal riding where I may need to open and close them depending on speed (highway, stoplight, fogging, etc.). I think it's a nice track helmet, but don't they make something very similar that is more road appropriate? I love AGV lids and am thinking about picking one up this year, but I had written this one off for this reason and was looking at a GP Tech or similar. Are the vent plugs removable or was that just a prototype review or something I read?

Yes the vents are covered by shaped pieces of rubber,which are either in or taken out. The Pista GP isnt really aimed at road riders due to the ventilation,the lack of visor open/closed position,and the wind skirt it comes with. But saying that,its the most quietest lid iv ever worn,plus the visor is 3mm thick and comes with a pinlock to stop fogging. It really is an updated version of the GP-Tech,which was already an awsome lid (hence why I own 4 of them)!

This is one of the helmets that I am running with. It's my "daytime" lid as the tinted visor is too much to see through from dusk until early dawn.
