So I'm in need of a trailer to get the bike to trackdays, etc. Spec out what you'd look for (brand?)...how you'd outfit it....

This would be a 12-footer or so-

Mat

I use a 6×12 single axle with electronic brakes.. it fits my wife's bike and mine with all of our gear, genny, extra tires, fuel, fluids and so on perfectly... I would go with an aluminum trailer with a lower empty weight and a v front to help with drag.. my trailer weighs 1000 lbs empty with a 200lbs tongue weight. Has white finished interior walls.. I have pit bull trs. System for the bikes and shelves. For everything else..

I have a 6x12 enclosed as well, it is a good size for up to 3 bikes. I would go aluminum if its in the budget (wasnt it mine) as they really are much lighter and hold up better.

I am still getting mine all put together but I have the pitbull trailer system as well. Used a all purpose rail system along the interior walls that have a bunch of different hooks and hangers. I am working on a pan for a removable storage deck/bunk bed. Plan is to tack a 2x4 on each wall just above the height of the bikes, then will build the deck out of 2x4s and plywood. About the size of a full size mattress. I will us it for storage when traveling and sleeping when camping out, or thats the plan at least.

Pics please.

Can snag some when I get off work.. it's really plain looking honestly... 2 trs.. 3 rows of etrack.. and shelving in the v and the side.. we did all weather carpet the floor aswell.. very nice for grip.. can sweep or vacuum out.. and not bad to sit on without getting dirty on crappy days.

Sounds about what I am going for. I just did the indoor outdoor carpet and painted the walls. I just didnt factor in the V when buying the carpet  oh well haha

Buy it up factory direct, find where they put them together and pick it up.

Tow vehicle?

V nose and 12-14 feet for any smaller gas motor. Biggest one you can afford if it's a diesel. Whatever you buy, you will always end up wishing you got the bigger size.

check out usatrailorstore.com trailers are good have one exactly the same as kendon 1000 less it doenst fold up though. cant hurt to look

Tacoma V6...but that could change....

Got a quote on a Featherlite 1610 at American Loan Masters in Ridgecrest, CA for $8700....

I use my 6.2l raptor. . But that's overkill for my little trailer.. I also scored My trailer for 1500. 4 years ago

Have you checked with TPD trailers? I would imagine you could get into a nice one with a generator compartment etc for that much from them. They are pretty legendary for quality in the trailer world.

I went 8.5x24 on mine...but I've got an insane number of motorcycles to haul when we go dirt bike riding. 7 total...and all the gear for the family fills it up pretty quickly after tools, fluids, and spare parts.

I actually wish it was smaller for pulling purposes (and I have a 2500HD pickup) but would not trade the space.

Featherlite's are bad ..., but there are cheaper options for all aluminum

Checking out TPD...holy smokes....

Would be picking up from Vegas or on way from Vegas to OR...so Sacramento might work out perfectly....
