Where it snows forever!
So I have an Arai lid and am getting a hotspot on the forehead. It is definitely my size and have even tried the larger cheek pads but still too much room in the cheeks and forehead pressure.

Enter AGV...

So got the chance to ride with the pista and the corsa and I am in love. However, I have gone from the plain carbon pista, to the corsa turtle and now at the soleluna corsa. Not going to provide a review here but just going to say aerodynamics are amazing (better than Shoei, Arai for me at least) with no head bobbing even at 110mph. My Arai would start at 70ish. Venting is SUPERB and love that it does not look 5 sizes too big like the Shoei.

Anyway... I love these two graphics the most. Can't decide what looks better with the new jacket and bike. Please weigh in!!!

apologies, madmaxx12 - trying to get the images to show in thread but won't work for me. I am a web manager too so you'd think I could manage this! LOL

Not too many choices there as Id pick a Bell Star Carbon! Sorry :(

Yeah, haha - its been quite a fun trip to nail down these choices :)

I was going to go all blacked out with the all carbon pista but rethinking as I do want some visibility on the road.

We need pic's of the jacket and gloves to see if they actually match. How is the airflow comparison between the 2 of them 4 you. https://sp.yimg.com/ib/th?id=HN.608030222421919316&pid=15.1&P=0 this one looks nice but don't know the color scheme of jacket.

Thanks but I'm about done with the Arai's.. can't find a good fit for this melon.

Airflow between the two is where the pista shines... more cooling than the corsa but not by a whole bunch more. Probably has all to do with the complete open on the pista vs. the mechanism on the corsa blocking some.

I hear ya man. Go wild.
Hey I have that same Arai with valves on it that I got with my 1198s Corse!

Bell Star all day. I have 2, and love both. Light, amazing venting, quiet with fantastic aero. I have a long head (as opposed to round) and they fit perfect. MHO.

I think a few of you are missing the point. I admire that he doing the right thing here. He has found a correct fitting lid without going for the normal name brand. (Not that AGV is bad) Most sheeple go for a brand and never attempt other fits cuz it looks good or cuz rider X wears it. He doesn't want an Arai, or a Shoei, or a Bell. He has found a perfect fit in AGV. He just wants opinion on color.

With that, you are missing out man, Arai is the best! Jk!

LOL... I was strictly Arai, till I realized their head shape doesn't work for me :(

Had the Signet Q and I must say, the AGV blows it away in venting and field of vision. Comfort is a tie but the padding in the AGV feels much more substantial.. this could be due to wear but visually, it is much thicker padding. Same shell sizes too.

Oh yeah, and "he" is a "she" - I'ma ridin' chica

Obviously you need a Schuberth SR1, it's what I have and therefore it is the best.

Ok, now that that's out of the way, I say rock those green turtle graphics and ignore all advice on getting any lid other than the two you've proposed (unless you're open to alternative graphics) - except, of course, for my advice on the SR1, because: me.

Oops, my bad. Vote on her damn color people! ;) Lol

As a guy, I couldn't picture a guy wearing one of those two choices........now the choices make sense! Go sun Chica. ;)

You did say visibility, so I'll vote Soleluna because I think it's brighter and more noticeable than the Tortuga.

Plus, all the cool kids have them (like me):

Also, IMG tags do work but need a URL reference...

I have had 3 bell stars luguna limited edition black beauty and now cota limited edition. best summer helmet. For track though x12 all day. Mm graphic of course. My advice whatever fits u the best. My Suomy extreme was the best helmet I ever owned but they changed the head shape
